Bannerman Resources offers investors highly leveraged investment exposure to the uranium equity market. The scope of Bannerman's primary asset, the Etango uranium deposit, presents investors with a unique opportunity to benefit significantly from expected uranium price increases driven by the global nuclear renaissance and construction plans for numerous new nuclear power facilities being built in China, most Asian nations and many Western countries.
The Etango Project is one of the world's largest undeveloped uranium deposits located in a premier uranium mining jurisdiction in Namibia. Etango has the strategic economic advantage of its close proximity to road, rail and electricity networks, one of southern Africa's largest commercial ports, water infrastructure, and to established support industries and labour forces in the nearby regional centre.
The Project has been significantly de-risked through extensive feasibility study activities, and is now one of the world's few large, long life and low technical risk projects located in a politically stable uranium mining jurisdiction. In our view, this bodes extremely well for shareholders in a market where uranium buyers, such as utilities, are seeking long term security of supply for their expanding clean-power generation ambitions.
Further, Bannerman holds one of the largest land packages licensed for uranium exploration in Namibia's prospective "alaskite alley" which hosts Rio Tinto's Rössing uranium mine. Recent generative exploration activities have been successful in identifying many new drill targets close to the Etango project including two new satellite deposits, as well as other targets to the north of the Swakop River, and on Bannerman's holdings which surround Paladin Energy's uranium mine at Langer Heinrich.
Bannerman's shares are listed on the Australian, Toronto and Namibian Stock Exchanges. |
